About Colm Travers

Colm Travers (MA, RCC) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Campbell River, BC, and the counsellor behind Island Time Therapeutic Services. He specializes in trauma recovery, addiction, and parenting counselling, and works in person in Campbell River and online across British Columbia.
A cornerstone of Colm’s practice is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist, he uses this evidence-based approach to help clients process past experiences so they lose their charge, and to make major, lasting life improvements.
In working with Colm, you can expect kindness and a friendly, supportive, non-judgmental experience. Your wants and needs stay central to the healing process. His approach emphasizes power, choices, and clear information so you can reach your goals. Alongside EMDR, he integrates board-certified hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), providing a structured, professional space where your autonomy is the priority.
